Carpet Services Ltd, has been providing services in the sales, cleaning, repair, and restoration of handmade Persian and Oriental carpets. The Founder
Mr. Hossein Shenasi
Hossein Shenasi, starting at the age of 12 in his hometown of Tabriz, Iran, began weaving carpets for his uncle and then went on to learn family business. In the Tehran bazaar, he worked in the famous Momtaz carpet store, which mainly dealt in the sale, cleaning, and repair of hand-knotted carpets for more than 20 years.
Mr. Hossein Shenasi learned all aspects of carpet restoration, whether weaving damaged areas, color run removal, stretching out of shaped carpets, binding, or fringing. He then decided to immigrate to Canada in the late 1970s to pursue what he had learned over the years.
